I first discovered triathlon in 1993, I was inexperienced and unsure about how to race but one thing was certain. I fell in love with the sport. Soon after I found myself helping others transition in to the sport and helping them achieve their goals. That’s when I decided to pursue a career as a personal trainer.

In 1996 I had the opportunity to go to the big Island and see my heroes race, specifically Dave Scott ( he is still the Man) and knew at that point that I would never leave the sport. As it turned out I perused my passion for helping others and I maintained a 21 year career with 24 Hour Fitness. My role was to hire, train and educate teams to help our members live a better lifestyle. The years I spent working in the fitness industry provided me a wealth of knowledge not only in building great teams but getting to the “Why” of our customers, you see people don’t join Gyms because of amenities and products. They do it to create a better version of themselves and a way that will make them feel great about life. It’s the same reason we as athletes continue to go back to races, it’s the thrill of the challenge, the life it breeds inside of us, the ability to do what we thought was not possible.

After 24 years of helping my members achieve their goals I decided it was time for me to live my dream. The reason I started my company was because I realized that not everyone loves my bikes the way that I do, I have invested thousands of dollars on my bikes over the years and I have competed in races where my bike didn’t perform the way it was intended due to how it was handled. All of my training, time and money invested in racing are in vain if I don’t have a bike that will perform at its best on race day. If you are like me then you have a name for your bike and probably a designated room inside the house for it. The bike is an extension of you, so we treat them almost like a family member.

My “Why” hasn’t changed, I love helping people achieve their goals. In this case my objective is to help our athletes through a company that will get their Bikes to the race and alleviate the stresses that come with the journey. No one talks about how stressful it is to get to the race and ensure everything is good to go, even less the stress that comes post-race.

Our athletes should be able to cross the finish line and enjoy the accomplishments without having to worry about getting their bike and gear and having to travel back home after a tough race. Save your PTO for vacations, not traveling hundreds of miles back home.

Simply put, Stress less. Race more often!

I’m just a guy living a dream and helping athletes one race at a time. I look forward to meeting you guys at your next race

    FAQ

Why should I use I Love My Bike Transport instead of shipping?

If you ship you bike and gear, consider the following:

    1. You need to purchase, rent, or borrow packing containers and materials .
    2. You need to disassemble your bike to ship and reassemble on delivery. This can lead to many different issues with fit and torque.
    3. You need to worry about delivery times.
    4. You need to worry about damage during shipping.
    5. You need to pay extra shipping fees and oversize bag fees if you fly with your bags.
